Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, dates/times of access, and pages visited, for security, reliability, and basic operation of the site. We do not use this site to run advertising tracking pixels.
Cookies
If the site is in preview / Coming Soon mode, we may set a small cookie after you enter the access password so you remain signed in for a limited period. That cookie is used only for access control and is not used for advertising.
Your browser may also store essential technical cookies required for the site to function. See our Cookie Policy for full details and the cookie notice on the site.
Why we use your information (lawful bases)
We use personal information to:
- Respond to workshop enquiries and arrange bookings (legitimate interests / steps prior to a contract)
- Communicate with schools, staff, and parents about services you have asked about (legitimate interests)
- Operate, secure, and improve the website (legitimate interests)

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the contact form to send marketing newsletters unless you have separately asked us to keep in touch that way.
Who we share information with
We share information only as needed to run the website and respond to you. That may include:
- Email / form delivery providers — for example Web3Forms, which delivers form submissions to our inbox at compassofcare@outlook.com
- Security / spam protection — Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form, to reduce automated abuse
- Website hosting — currently Firebase / Google Cloud infrastructure used to host compassofcare.ie
- Professional advisers or authorities — only where required by law or to protect rights and safety
Some providers may process data outside Ireland / the EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers (such as standard contractual clauses) where required.
Children
Our workshops support children and young people, but this website and the booking form are intended for adults (for example school staff and parents/guardians). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. Please do not submit children’s personal details through the form unless we have asked for specific information needed to plan a booking, and then only what is necessary.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and booking-related correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up, record-keeping, and legal purposes. We then delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Under GDPR / Irish data protection law, you may have rights to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to erase data in certain circumstances
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Data portability, where applicable

To exercise these rights, email compassofcare@outlook.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland).
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you should review the updated policy.
