Legal

Terms and Conditions

These terms explain the rules for using compassofcare.ie and for making workshop enquiries through this website.

Last updated: 21 August 2026

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Compass of Care (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can contact us at compassofcare@outlook.com.

2. Agreeing to these terms

By using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date will change when we do.

3. What this website is for

compassofcare.ie provides information about workshops and services related to cyber safety, anti-bullying, restorative practice, and empathy for schools and families. You may also submit a workshop enquiry through the contact form.

Content on this site is for general information only. It is not a substitute for professional advice tailored to a particular school, child, or incident, and it does not create a client relationship by itself.

4. Workshop enquiries and bookings

Submitting the “Book a workshop” form is an enquiry, not an automatic confirmed booking. We will review your message and respond using the contact details you provide.

Any confirmed workshop engagement — including dates, fees, location, audience, content scope, cancellation terms, and responsibilities — will be agreed separately in writing (for example by email) before the visit goes ahead.

You agree to provide accurate information in enquiries and not to submit unlawful, abusive, or misleading content through the form.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site in any way that breaks the law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, related systems, or other users’ data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the site’s security or availability
  • Copy, scrape, or misuse site content for commercial purposes without our permission (other than ordinary personal or school use of publicly available information)
  • Introduce malware or attempt to reverse engineer the site

If Coming Soon / preview access is enabled, the access password is for authorised preview only and must not be shared publicly.

6. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website design, text, branding, and materials on this site belong to Compass of Care or our licensors. You may view and print pages for personal or internal school use. You may not republish, sell, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

Workshop materials delivered in person or provided to a school after booking remain subject to the terms agreed for that engagement.

7. Third-party services and links

The site may rely on third-party services (for example hosting and form delivery). We are not responsible for third-party services’ own terms or outages beyond our reasonable control.

Links to external websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

8. Privacy and cookies

How we handle personal information and cookies is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the website available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or withdraw content or features without notice.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law:

  • The website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis
  • We do not warrant that content is complete, accurate, or up to date at all times
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.

Workshop delivery standards and any related liability for a booked engagement will be governed by the separate written agreement for that booking.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or use of this website, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply.
